About
Adam Mir is a writer and director living and working across London's Off-West End scene. Most recently, he wrote, directed and stage managed The (unforeseen) Annoyances of Intimacy at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Greenside George Street) in 2026, running the show independently on a fringe budget.
Having produced, written and assistant directed his debut play What's the Craic? in 2024 (The White Bear Theatre, The Golden Goose Theatre), he's continued to work on farcical and satirical comedies including 2025's sell-out show, Ripper? I Hardly Know Her! (The Courtyard Theatre) and The Inner Workings (Of An Up-And-Coming Sociopath) as part of Stepdad Theatre Company's Briefs Festival (The Bread and Roses Theatre).
Adam has a particular love for new writing and satirical comedy, and is currently directing Alex Rowntree's satirical comedy Defective Altruism, which played at The Bread and Roses Theatre as part of Defector's Comedy's Scratch Night and is currently in development.
Combining original music and choreography, fast-paced dialogue and a plethora of dry-witted jokes and references, Adam continues to push the storytelling boundaries of comedy, always toeing the line between hilarity and tragedy. Adam's endeavour is to create big, bold and beautiful theatre available to the masses.
